The quickest way to reach the editorial team is by email: contact@exchangecrypto.ch. There is no contact form and no phone line; a short message with the key details is enough. You are welcome to write in English, German, French or Italian.
What to write to us about
Most of the messages that genuinely help us fall into one of four categories:
- Corrections. A detail is wrong, a link is broken, a sentence is misleading. Please name the page and the passage.
- Outdated fees or limits. Providers regularly change prices, minimum amounts and payment methods. A link to the current price list saves us a lot of digging.
- New Swiss providers. A new app, broker or bank offering crypto? Useful details are the name, the website and whether it holds a FINMA licence or belongs to an Self-regulatory organisation: a FINMA-recognised body that supervises its members' compliance with Swiss anti-money-laundering law..
- Crypto spots in your town. A bitcoin ATM, a shop that accepts bitcoin, a regular meetup. Please include an address or link. Before a place appears on one of our regional pages, we check it ourselves; we do not publish anything we could not confirm.
What we cannot do
We do not give personal investment or tax advice. We cannot tell you whether to buy bitcoin now or which figure belongs in your tax return. You will find general answers in our guides to crypto tax in Switzerland and declaring crypto on your return; for your individual situation, your cantonal tax office is the authority.
Nor can we recover lost coins, unlock exchange accounts or negotiate with a provider on your behalf. If you have a problem with an account, contact the provider's support directly.
When to expect a reply
We read every message. Error reports take priority because they affect all our readers. We cannot promise a fixed response time; some checks take longer, for example when we need to ask a provider or an authority. Not every tip gets a detailed reply, but every one is looked at.
We use your email only to reply to you; see our privacy policy for details. Our methodology explains how we verify information before it goes live, and the about page sets out what the site covers and the principles it follows.
